As those of you who attended our SkiffieFest know, we have been given permission by the Faversham Town Council (subject to final ok from the insurance company) to install 3 floating docks rent-free for one year on to the Faversham Jetty ( near the Albion Taverna).

This exciting project will enable us to store our wonderful skiffs out of the water with their covers on. Launching and redocking will be simplified, allowing easier access if members wish to row outside normal rowing sessions when tides permit!

They will also add a splash of colour to the Creek!

The cost of the docks is being met by a ‘soft loan’ for one dock, a generous donation for the second and we are currently fundraising for the third. This got off to a brilliant start at the SkiffieFest thanks to Guy, Becky and William Wade, who ran a ‘Lego Block’ raffle which raised £200!
